A Ripple in Time

Every deed, good or evil, becomes a ripple,
like in a pond where a stone was tossed
or raindrop fell.
But the stone makes ripples of its own,
running away - running away
until washed onto a distant shore
or glancing back into itself off granite walls.
Myriads of raindrops fall and their ripples intertwine
until their paths bubble and boil as one.

Each separate pond with its own instigation.

Every word, good or evil, becomes a ripple,
like to the skies a shout was yelled
or whisper breathed.
But shouts make ripples of their own,
running away - running away
until lost over a distant plain
or echoing back off granite walls.
Myriads of whispers breathed and their breaths intertwine
until their paths jumble and murmur as one.

Each separate pond with its own instigation.

Every light, good or evil, becomes a ripple,
like a bright blinding, exploding light
or a moonlit meadow.
But blinding lights make ripples of their own,
running away - running away
until lost in distant space
or reflecting back off other moons.
Myriads of soft lights glow and intertwine
until all is lit as one.

All ponds with the same inspiration
coming together - coming together.

This is a nice poem.I like the alliteration, the use of symbols and imagery in this piece. I like this line... "Myriads of whispers breathed and their breaths intertwine until their paths jumble and murmur as one"

It's all about vibs that over used expression of the sixties . People Use it without really thinking about it. I like this poem. We need more good ripples in our lives.
