    A very heart-warming Haiku, as always. :)

I figured that Perhaps I Was a Bit Naive (really should have made that a shorter title, btw) was getting a little too "overloaded" with comments... so I'll respond to you here ;) If I ever do decide to visit that part of the world, I know who's house to drop by for sure! I'm not much of a world traveler - aside from the one time I visited Europe - now THAT was fun!

Eileen, this little post displays your mastery of the haiku. Clever and talented use of an apostrophe... Great job... Hugs to ya..... Jake

I'm glad I get some commendation on this particular form, for I often have doubts whether I'm getting it right. Thank you! :)

Nice descriptiveness in only a few words.

I'm not usually one of few words...the form rules over me! :) Thank you for the post.

Very sensual. To be honest, when I try haiku I try to make it as basic as possible, in terms of descriptions. But the more poetic haiku are still treats to read (especially yours). Sounds to me like you know HOW to wake up in the morning... lol.

;) Mornings ARE my favorite time of day. I'm a total fruitcake at night. I fall asleep mid sentence and then talk jibberish. My friends and family get a kick out of watching me struggle to make sense...Mornings...I'm lucid, alive, and on top of the world. Your way is how haiku is supposed to be...I just HAVE to wax eloquent...DRAMA QUEEN ME!

MD....you are a sweetheart. What would I do without your love and messages in my life? I'd miss something very valuable!
