We cozied up in the corner just me and you
To have a wee drink and some quiet time too
Along came a stranger as fine as can be
He asked you to dance and stole you from me.
I watched as the two of you danced on the floor
His arms wrapped around you, kissing and more
Anger is starting to fill up my heart
How can you do this, I’m falling apart.
I commanded the stranger to meet me outside
He answered my challenge with you by his side
I got the first punch in and down he did fall
Then you walked away while ignoring my call
Oh, dance with me Margie or take me on home
For I am sure tired of drinking alone
You’re flirting with him and I’m losing my mind
If we don’t go now I will leave you behind.
