kneeling down in
a field of headstones
is no way to reminisce -
instead I visit you
through your daughter's smile

    timothy, just to let you know. I am seeing your lovely comments and wish I could stay up to look at poems!! Gotta get some sleep. I am running on empty these days. haha. It's really hard to keep up here. I bet you would agree. Luv, Andrea (my hubbie lost his job due to an accident he caused and unable to get hired by anyone, he is starting up his old construction business focusing on Bobcat work, which is scary since he has asthma and other things now that are pretty bad but no health care!)

    timothy , you should check out the link I put under the poem "I just found out" and you can see a picture of a toy poodle and the funny ferret that the guy in Argentina mistook as a dog! Let me read this poem of yours now.

    BTW..just to let you know..My Mother's Eyes isn't actually about MY mother. No, she came as a refugee to Lebanon when she was 14 years old. That was me trying to live through the experience. Just to clarify! :)
