The Season

The Season

Autumn Green, caught my eye, and I fell
- love for all seasons I thought existed within –
only to discover, as time passed us by
there was – it seemed – to be only one season,
the season that comes to life, upon the heels of deaths decay.

Autumn Green, turns to icy cold, the coolness of
Winter’s, domain and her chilling grip upon this plain,
the plain of forlorn love – love that could take one above
– all – of mans desire and love for this one Season,
that pretends all – with alleged logic and reason.

Spring, Summer and Fall, but hollow word.
Winter, the only heart beat that can be heard
- by these ears – beating from her beautiful chest.
Life – it seems – she can give to the rest.

Hello Donna : I am glad that you did “ I really enjoyed this ” Donna, for it is nice to know that I have touched a piece of someone’s spirit !, something I felt in the soul of your “ Winter’s Lair ”, and as happened, in a page from my ex common-law, in northern Ontario, ( no Lair ) as she laid - before me and all – on her facebook site a video depiction ( in real time and reality ) of your poem. Beautiful work !!!, and I thank you for your belief in my ability, one that we share, although I must say that I am a total failure, no green thumb on these hands. Anyway my Dear, I hope that you get to enjoy the fruits – I should say vegetables – of your crazy labour . B. J. “A” 2 ( Bill . )

Good Morning Anne Lise : Thank you Anne Lise , for your comments for your interest for your praise about my stuff . “ All seasons have their charm, ” oh yes Anne Lise, they do and that is why I used them as the back drop to explain my experiences, my understanding, my feelings for The Polish Princess, she was the primary subject for almost all my Poems from 2006 until late 2009 when the subject became my Chinese Lotus blossom. Autumn Green ( when our maple leaves are dressed in their multi coloured garb, in shades of greens, yellows and browns ) are the colour of The Princesses, eyes and the fall and winter seasons are what I got for my efforts from the depths of her heart . Thank you again Anne Lise . Bill . ( B. J. “A” 2 )

Good Morning Christine : Thank you Christina, for your interest, for commenting and for your praise about my stuff . “ I am big fan of nature. ” as am I my Dear, which probably explains why I used Her, ( Mother Nature, ) as the back drop for my experiences, my understanding, my feelings for The Polish Princess, that is primarily the subject of almost all my Poems from 2006 until late 2009 when the subject became my Chinese Lotus blossom. Autumn Green ( when our maple leaves are dressed in their malty coloured garb, in shades of greens, yellows and browns ) are the colour of The Princesses eyes . Thank you again Christine . Bill .
