Haiku 39 - The Stone Cycle


	
	my private field
	an embarrassment of dread
	stones, cold rain

		•
	
	buried in cheap wine
	obvious worthlessness
	stones, sinking
		
		• 
	
	blue and gray despair
	red and purple my anger
	stones, submerged
	
		•
	 
	color salvation —
 	“Paint yellow,” she said
	stones, receding water
	
		•

	climb to clean air
	to yellow, orange, bright green
	stones, in my garden

    I like the way you made a cycle of them and loved how they ended up so colorful.

    Maybe it's being older, and realizing the reality of life's cycles that now have had time to come almost full circle. I don't know how I would survive without color, bright or sad. Thanks for the comment... Jack
