in the tidal pool
small crabs walk on shining stones –
a dog barks

    Thanks for reading and appreciating my haiku work. It means a lot coming from the master... haha! I also wanted to say that the form is called Mondo. I called the poem Mondo 1 because of that... but I suppose what's obvious to me isn't always obvious to everyone else... lol. If ever you are feeling ambitious and want to change things up, you and I could do a duet one. After all it is meant for two poets... let me know if you are ever interested!

    love it!........if this was my dog.....he would end up with that crab grabbing his nose! (he's been bitten twice by a rattlesnake for sticking his nose into the wrong places......hmm and they say curiousity killed the cat? in our case it's the dog who's in jeapordy!
