What's Meant To Be

Her lover has gone never to return, this realized
Words that were spoken should not have been heard, this realized

His ears closed mouth wide open speaking these sounds, so much hurt
Spring will wait hope is now lost colors gone, this realized

The heartache felt as love faded and the red roses wept
Rainbows ended greens and blues as he left, this realized

Romance is now gone, intimacy without, lips untouched
The tears drops felt on her skin his is dry, this realized

The chapter closes, novel ends, another to begin
The pages melt paper burns what’s meant to be, she realized.

Though I won't pretend to understand everything here, your talent kept my interest. It Is beautifully written, though in a form with which I'm not familiar. There is clearly sadness involved. But that only spotlights your talent.... Love ya dearly..... Jake
