-It Has But, Been My Way-

                                             I Wrote this one
                                             For my Son
                                             In the year 2001.

. IT HAS NOT EVER BEEN MY WAY

TO WANT TO CHANGE, HOW ONE BELIEVES IN THEIR TENETS

OR HOW THEY THEIR DESTINIES WOULD SWAY,

OR HOW THEY SHOULD DON THEIR LIFE'S GARMENTS.

NOR EVER, EVEN SUGGEST IN WHO OR WHAT

        THEIR ROLE MODELS SHOULD BE

NEITHER IN WHAT GOD OR GODS ONE CAN OR CANNOT

LIFT THEIR EYES UP TO SEE.

. IT HAS NOT EVER BEEN MY WAY

TO TELL YOU WHAT OR WHO YOU SHOULD BE

OR HOW OR WHAT YOU SHOULD SAY

OR E'EN WHAT OR WHO YOU SHOULD SEE.

. NOR EVER SUGGEST THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS

        TO ALL THE MULTIPLE QUESTIONS

OR PROBE AND SEE WHAT ARE YOUR CHANCES

TO SOLVE AND FIND ALL THE SOLUTIONS.

BUT IT HAS BEEN MY WAY

TO ALLOW YOUR MIND TO ASK THE QUESTIONS

TO CHOOSE AND HAVE YOUR OWN SAY

AND OPEN UP YOURSELF TO YOUR OWN SUGGESTIONS.

AND ASK OF YOU TO CHALLENGE MY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

FOR MY UNDERSTANDING ONLY COMES ALONG

WHEN YOUR POINT OF VIEW, MY VISION GREATLY ENCHANCES

THEN IN ITS PUREST FORM, UNDERSTANDING SINGS ITS CELESTIAL SONG.
