    That's it. You go girl. Not many log cabins left these days. More like delapadated old houses now. Although most are extremely small. Only people who can afford cabins are the state, with taxpayer monies. Just about all the public state owned facilities are basically log cabin style, (upgraded version). That is---in the mountain regions.

    I have no idea if the cabins Charles viewed were log, but I enjoyed playing with this and 'saw' irony in the moment he described. Nature 'thinned' by man, man leaves, structures are thinned by nature (time) HA!
