Heaven's Rain

Heaven’s Rain Raindrops softly touch the earth’s fragile ground Upon shadows where flowers used to stand Now remain just a shade of darkness found Desperately inviting heaven’s rain to nurture their land The ocean tides that used to roll pure and clean Now are filled with pollutants from mankind’s blame Reaching the shorelines resting upon trash and other debris As nature anxiously calls out to be purified by heaven’s rain The fields that would grow large crops of healthy grains Now barely stand on the fields, lifeless in the wind Longing to be quenched by heaven’s rain So they can gather their strength back within These days, the sun’s rays burns easily through the ozone layer Leaving everything in its path to dry and wilt away It’s time we all sat down and said a little prayer To be quenched and saved by heaven’s rain

Beautifully written and so much truth to it, the planet is being slowly destroyed and so many of our leaders are turning a blind eye. Yes, we must pray for Mother Earth...
