A monument

Holding the pencil
In my hand
I tighten it
And lift in over my head
Towards heaven
With love and anger in my heart

I thrust it downward
Lead first
Into the earth
Until it stands free
One with the earth
A monument

WOW-- Intense, but exceptional write-- a 'pencil' comparitive is unique and clever. I have to ask-- is this frustration at writing, or just a display of emotion? Welcome to P/Soup.
