A Garden Sonnet
I see a tulip dripping, with rubies
Water trickling down a Spanish Rose
Erected on a fence post sweet posies
Are blushing, like pastel paper rupees
Blooms of clematis like vigorous bees
Climbing the fence of summer trapeze
Lingering scents so pungent and live
Ensconced in soil on a stem they thrive
Bottled inside me is beauty and charm
Daisies are dancing and doing no harm
Come to my garden, and see the Ivy
An emerald beauty speaking of privy
The world is like a garden, full of Roses
Open your heart to where life reposes.
