About This Poem
My Bucket List Philosophy
Once I had a bucket list, this long,
Sense of anticipation prolong.
Living in a world of illusion,
I gave up all of my delusion.
I sensed I was running out of time,
Realized dreams were not worth a dime.
I wanted to do a lot of things,
I saw the disappointment life brings.
Its not that I have stopped dreaming now,
Life's harsh realities won't allow.
Achievement and fulfilment of dreams,
Mortality closes, soul redeems.
For Frank's contest
Yasmin khan.
