Loud speech in restaurants is crude Why are the obnoxious so rude? Their noise should be banned This is not a food stand But a place we pay for the mood Author's note: My wife and I went out for dinner with friends last night. That was the inspiration for the limerick above. However, this is also an allegory for what is wrong in today's world. There is a critical shortage of consideration for others.
