Gravity

Gravity has pulled me down,
I try to rise up and get my feet on the ground.
My wings are broken and stretched too thin,
Gravity’s pull is at it again.

Deeper and deeper gravity pulls me,
into the void, a fight I could not foresee
A prisoner of my psychic chains,
I fear after this I may not rise again.

How much further must I succumb to gravity?
I need a release from this realm’s travesty.
All mountains must crumble in due time;
My path is done, there’s no more to climb.

Rock bottom, nowhere to go but up,
there’s nothing left but my mind to reconstruct.
I’m done with this charade; go forth and read the hereunder!
For gravity has pulled me six feet under.

    I love the line "nowhere to go but up" cause at that point you're dead and must go up to heaven. On the contrary one could go down to hell, but here you do not do that. Very well written!

    That's a good write...and intense.
