Grace! It was not that I’d fallen from the Grace of God.
Tho! My sins had stolen the comfort in the knowing of my Lord’s eternal Grace.
My eye’s they had lowered from his loving gaze, my heart it filled with discontent, confusion a maze.
Just as I could take no more I dared to look once more upon the face who’s love and Grace to which I was once adorned.
Behold! I was amazed to see, there within His eyes was not sadness but there was Joy, Joy to see that I had turned from my lowly place to look once more upon His face.
Grace you see, it is eternal, ever lasting, never ceasing to be.
In my weakness Grace is most active in me.
