THE LONG LANE

along the straight long country lane ahead men mark over 400 trees yellow warning signs tomorrow temporarily roadblock between 5 o'clock until daylight disappears bare trees roughly marked thick white stripes painted numbers tomorrow's open air woodcutter's schedule next week when I return 400 trees will be gone their emptiness will show so much more than just woodcutter's job done their wideness will reveal so much more than just an open view missing trees will reveal so much more than just remains of a former queue @Ellie Daphne
