A Kiss Of Sunshine
She lives in the underbelly of gold cocoon
Touched by the rays of an alloy monsoon
Out in the fields
The marigold yields
Petals shoo fly to the yellow flecked moon
A scent so pretty as she billows for free
With ruffles of orange and mandarin glee
She’s a Mexican flower
Of noblest power
A perennial of sunlight by wide open spree
She’s a Japanese tuck by the path of my ear
A kiss of pure sunshine for the royal Emir
She’s a Mystic’s renown
In a sequined gold gown
A susceptible light, and a marigold, fleer!
