About This Poem

Sin

Sin's a siren. Sin brings pleasure
A tempting fruit grows from that tree
Within its walls there is a treasure
Of pain and death and agony
And though its hosts are always killed
Its appetite is never filled
So they dance the dance of catacombs
With ghosts and ghouls and dead mens bones
What a party that must be
Boring worms quite literally

Great truths that you have penned about this topic..The way of sin is death without repentance that is ..One never knows when their time will be up though do they..Enjoyed reading this one today..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

Quiet an inventive way to describe the down falls of sin, oh but it can be quiet pleasurable at times, like that wicked rich chocolate that keeps calling you from the hidden spot in the cupboard, "Come and get me Hollywood!" lol xxx Thanks for your visit,
