About This Poem

CATHEDRAL

CATHEDRAL

in sanctuary
sunlight strikes the panes blood red
huge g minor chord

paris – notre dame
its big bell shatters silence
ghost – quasimodo

marvelous stone pile
cologne cathedral inside
universe enclosed

old priest asking alms
cologne cathedral inside
blessed – face of god
