Becca! You have blown me away with this one! There isn't a single line here I didn't love. Adding it to my favs. I have noticed you've been writing free verse quite a bit lately - I think you have found your niche :)

Becca....every line of this poem captivated me....I can't describe the heartfelt beauty that transparency creates in the one who writes and the one who reads! WOW! A 7 for sure! The culmination was out of this world...especially referring back to your title...Removing the Veil, which was an attention getter if I ever saw one. I applaud you! Hugs!!!!

You are becoming one of my favorite poets on the Soup, Becca...The first verse reminds me of Merle Haggard's hearbreaker 'Lookin for a Place to Fall Apart'...last verse is right on the money...'frightening yet, exciting'...Ditto - Tim

Bec, this is very good, the analogy to writing sums most of us up I would think, it is our blood, well done....David
