About This Poem
Shadowed Forms
The crowd scurries here and there
Looking for their place to go
In the midst of the large crowd
I stop to notice
They venture without a look
Never see each other there
Just focused on their one goal
Their destination
I saw they look like shadows
Each clinging to their masters
And fuzzy with not a care
Wanting to be done
I looked amongst the grand crowd
As their shadowed form went on
They start to look inhuman
Like some aliens
They pass me without a look
I no longer see each face
They are shadows fogged over
Lost souls in the dark
I leave the scene behind me
I go back to my safe room
Hoping that I never see
Shadowed forms again
