The Interrogation of Prince Charming
By Elton Camp
When the prince appears with the charms
The fair maiden blindly falls into his arms
Glenda was a maiden prone to investigate
Before getting into a situation she’d hate
Was it worthwhile to elope with the prince?
She was determined to count the expense
“Have you a castle that belongs only to you
Or will your parents be living in there too?”
“How many ex-wives do you have to support?
Will you agree no new maidens to court?”
“Can you prove that you don’t have STD
Because that is extremely important to me”
“You are just a bit too charming in a way
Are you absolutely sure you aren’t gay?”
Only after Glenda has thoroughly inquired
Did she decide he was the prince she desired
