Gail; being a parent is not easy, because we too are learning as we go along. Now we think of what we could've done, but the thing is that we did the best we could. Time is a great teacher. Thanks for sharing and for reading my poem. Lucilla

wow...beautiful write.."I wipe the tears away and I stare deeply into the sunshine Seeing a reflection there of what could’ve been Still find myself fighting to turn back the hands of time A mission that I know I won’t win.'

Terrific poem Gail. Yes, those darn hands of time won't let us turn them back - but, we can always re-run them in our minds. And somehow, despite all the mistakes we made, our kids turn out great any way - and that, to me, is the reflection of love.

My mind has been drifting back to those times too, more often of late. They grow too fast and get busy in their own lives and I know I miss mine. Great reflective write, Gail !!
