About This Poem

Muse Moon

O Selene of amber aria bright,
Grant peace thus sleepless night.
Moonbeams cast-down from afar,
Dancing among bespeckled star.

Thou glow but a whimsical muse,
Radiance a wakeful soul imbues.
Serenity beckons mine quill,
A parchment partake its fill.

To capture in words thou essence,
Deifying a celestial presence.
Enchantress moon in the oblique benight,
Basking in lyrical incandescent light.

Hush mine disquieted befuddled brain,
Verse spills forthwith inspirations refrain.
Transcending a rapturous compose,
Effervescence, to melodious prose.
