Green Is

Green is spring's renewal and rebirth.
The indication that things will bloom.
The love of a gardener with a green thumb,
Or green envy for those with brown who think
Grass is always greener on the other side.

Green is the combination of yellow and blue.
It's the color of inspiration and growth.
If I keep a four-leaf clover in my heart
Will the spring songbirds sing?

I just adored that second stanza. The whole poem though is delightful, Connie. how interesting you are a twin. Are you much the same? and is your twin nearby?

Not too many people could tell us a part when we were young, but in our golden years there's a different in size of shape, but our voices are still one of the same. She live about an hour away, but we talk a couple times a week. She's jokes around a lot. I'm more serious. Thanks for your lovely comment. Connie

Just waiting for the earth to become green. Too much snow and cold for the songbirds to sing. I can't wait for spring. Thanks for your comment. Warm Smiles, Connie
