What If
What if the stars
refused to shine?
What if you were not
mine?
The thought of this
is really scary
I don’t think I
could handle it
I wondered how it
came about
What was wrong with
the way that I felt?
What if the moon did
not shine?
How would I know you
were mine?
The thought of this
frightens me
It leaves me with a
feeling of
uncertainty
I’d confess how I
feel in a way
Making clear that it
would be
You who I seek to be
with me forever
Letting me know all
was alright
Somehow the moon
would shine all
night
Making clear I found
the one
To lie in my bed and
in my arms rest
For she knew that I
loved her dearly
