About This Poem

HAPPINESS II

HAPPINESS II

Happiness:
Unrealized dream of
Mortals
That
Eludes the understanding
And
Is only to be found
Within
The walls of the
Imagination
As
A state of mind,
Able to be felt,
Only,
In the form of
POETRY!

Amen to that! I don't know what my life would be like without poetry...or reading wonderful poems like this written by wonderful poets such as you! :) We must never wait for happiness to visit us...we must make our own happiness! Hugs!

The walls of the imagination, I like that. The mind can really go to far away places, or where no one else can imagine. Poetry is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla
