If my Days on Earth were Numbered
If my days on Earth were numbered,
I would cease to take simple things
in life for granted
I would take time to gaze
at a rose, as it slowly blossoms
I would take time to gaze
at a clear, night sky,
as the stars twinkle back at me
I would enjoy the wind
and rain, like the times
I was a child
Family would come first
before every one I know,
knowing that it would be last
time I see them
