About This Poem
Touch Lightly
It was very bright, almost like day,
As the moon reflected back
Through the window behind her.
She knew her sheer negligee
Would expose more than a tempting tease.
I was warmly chilled and couldn't speak,
So I smiled, almost shyly, and she reached out,
"Pour vous, pour moi---For you, for me",
And as we stood inches apart, then--
Slid a mink mitten onto my trembling hand
And said "Toucher legerement--Touch lightly, lightly"
And as her fingers slid down my chest,
"We shall last the night in ecstacy".
