About This Poem
RX for Life
A truth I've come to understand
The pill I hold within my hand
Will not solve problems of my making
Do not have answers I've been seeking
As my fingers reach for pills for sleeping
Followed by a pill for keeping
Fit and trim, calm and slim
Happy, giddy, strong and witty
The answers from a capsule's powder
Will never change my troubles borrowed
Will not give me the magic powers
For peace of mind, the acts of kindness
I can't ordain such magic potions
I should only seek "Divine" solutions
