The pill of life is colored green.
If swallowed only with caffeine
it stirs strange tics that last the night.
During this time you sweat a bit
and wallow 'round a hellish pit.
So when at last from sleep you "wake"
you pray the Lord your soul to take.
The pill of life is virgin silk,
take it now with warm white milk;
after which you’ll sleep all night.
First, pray to God that He will bless
and find the silken blanket's rest.
The secret’s not within the pill
but in the prayer that seeks God’s will.
