R I P

R.I.P

Seen a lot of good
when everything went so right
good times in my life.

Had some sadness too
things go wrong I don’t know why
lots of things go wrong.

I’m a lonely man
tried to sort it out but how
I just don’t know why

Taken lots of chances
lots of changes in my life
seen the other side.

Just got to do this
got to do something with life
why put up a fight.

I’m on the wrong side
track well worn with forlorn souls
tried to sort it out.

Been lots of sadness
trouble in town other night
cut down in a fight.

I guess this my life
just rushing by in seconds
the knife oh the pain.

Seen a lot of good
when everything went so right
but she went away!

I too feel, why such things happen in life of many. Sometimes, I feel that fate is God's design, we all are bound to bear with that. Perhaps, it's a test for next life. I believe incarnation. Your sharp pen has given sorrow tears of ink with words which touched my heart. Loved always my friend, bl

Outstanding and Interesting String Senryu, Harry. They run deep-touch of sadness.. and as usual with you, they are written very well. Thank you for reading me. Always, Annalise

Harry; This is good , but very sad. I too hope it's not you. Life is bad, but nothing lasts forever. Smile - we love you. Other people have it worst. It is not time for you to rest in peace yet. Lucilla

oh yes, I remember that form. One time someone did a contest of string haiku. This one is very interesting, Harry. I am pretty sure you are not the actual "I" of this poem. but good way to get into the shoes of the character!
