About This Poem
Bag of Seeds
I have done many things, working for slim pay
Little they offered, sometimes a small amount
I would work quite hard in and out of each day
One employer gave something to shout about
Bag of seeds that he claimed to be magical
I took them in lieu of pay, took a gamble
So I planted them beyond my house, outside
Golden potatoes grew, so surprised I cried
