I No Longer Fear The Rain
Today if it rains, and the skies get dark,
I will not be disturbed by it.
I no longer fear the rain...
I will grab my favorite sweater and walk in it.
Rejoicing cause no amount of rain could ever again remind me of sorrow.
Instead I will imagine myself being showered by a love like no other man has ever known.
I am grateful for rediscovering love; may it always pour down on me like the rain.
I will embrace it even in darkness because I know it will eventually bring me light; I find traces of it in my beloved eyes.
And when the rain finally ceases to fall; I'll patiently wait for the rainbow to
shine cause the treasure it holds is already mine.
it's just not found in the promises of gold; it's found in the beauty that time eventually unfolds.
More precious than any metal or stone it's the love you've given me a love Ive never known.
