Who Is He

He holds a trigger but doesn't own a gun.
He likes to play but never has any fun.
He likes to sit, stew, grind and slain
he likes to sip alcohol to dull his pain.
He is brash and harsh won't hesitate to
rip anyone apart but not because can I claim
this man has no heart.
He offends like a sport few things he says
would anyone retort but he is growing weaker
his life regrets cutting in a little deeper.
To proud to say he's ever done wrong he'll
take his pride to his grave like a song.
And I'll miss that man cause I love him
and he has taught me right from wrong.........
He is my father after all..........
