To Go On Forever

Relishing the hate rolling off your tongue
Anticipating the brutish fist in my face
I know you care about me
When vile is all you dare to speak
I've never wanted anything more
Than to smell fresh blood from a once porcelain cheek
To gnaw the leftover heart of a late meal past
To lay in a peaceful field at last
Stomach churning with cold blood
Chills and bumps infiltrating the warmth of my skin
Teeth clenched with paranoia at the return of bad memories
Years of decay follow,
And the scars will never heal.

Disturbing and memorizing at the same time. Also I want to say thanks for taking time to read a number of my poems. Your presence made my day. If you have a chance read my poem Wisdom Tree and A man and the moon. I think you will appreciate them.
