Summer Air

Sleeping in cars, I’m the last one here
And I don’t like this
I know it’s because how the weather stains my brain.
We stand ageless
The first time, we had less sense of time and awareness
Where has time gone.
is it still beating the race with my heart again?
Exhaust from cars, mixed with pollen means new beginnings
Dreaming in cars, I know it’s there but I do not understand
Springtime air, I know it’s there but I’m still not healing

Can I ask for an escort out of this scene?
I have changed my mind
What is wrong with me
As my mind is abroad
My wound has been seared
 I’m done bleeding
No more sleeping in cars
I will come back home
To a happy ending
