About This Poem

Tolerance

We are human,
we have our frailties.
Emotions and confusion,
part of our complexity.
We have our attributes,
that help us to define.
They evolve from our roots,
this nuance, yours and mine.
And so we build our character,
that distinguishes each and all.
A process in which we must
concur,
an experience windfall.
And thus with age comes
tolerance,
the concept of which I evince.
