Hearty Advice
School bully pushed off with both hands and feet.
When push came to shove, I stood up to cheat.
Sneaking in my secret weapon called pause,
I chased his focus with raucous applause.
I told him, “Feel free to stay or take flight.”
I could tell this kid was set for a fight.
He refused to move; I went with my heart
and took off running, blessed with quick start.
Trained as I am to boost peace and quiet,
I dodged the old spots where kids often riot.
Instinct kicked in, at my office I stopped
I took my heart's advice and called a cop!
