spring rose petals bloom
showing how my heart blossomed
when falling for you
summer’s butterfly
opened its wings to catch me
when falling for you
wind sends autumn leaves
to protect my heart in gold
in trails that found you
winter’s blanket weaves
heartstrings to stay connected
when falling for you
