A TEPEE NIGHT

White skin, stretched up,
Catching the light of the summertime,
	When a cry, unheard,
Fall under the mountain side.

Life is cooking!
	Far in, far out.
The lovers' worship the long nights,
and they never glimpsed for a moment the long cry;
And then the praise, as if it were Life itself,

	It seemed gone forever
Between their arms!
