About This Poem

Regret

There’s no need of proof
that all I ever desired
was taken away,
a quick death by self-Judas.
I had not prepared to bleed.

Regret is a fruitless land, I hope you do not choose to spend to much time entangled within it's branches. Very powerful forth line! You have skills my friend. Welcome to the Soup, you will fit right in.

This wasn't about me. I agree though that regret is barren and yields virtually nothing of value. Thanks for your comment. Jack

Fortunately for me, this was long ago. Thanks for the compliment and welcome. I'm having a great time writing again; it's been quite a while.
