What keeps our fires to burn embers out of vibrant flames?
Perhaps it is the passion of love that still remains
Even after years have past on, the embers still burn
Always allowing heartfelt memories to have a place where they return
What keeps hearts igniting a spark that never dies?
Creating a magical fire that leaves diamond sparkles into one’s eyes
Perhaps the strong love of family, friends and lovers to create a fiery window
That vowed to keep showing reflections from burning embers of years ago
While precious time past, the smoke and ashes were never part of a fiery hue
For the fire still today keeps burning life within a clear view
So we may continue to embrace with our own two eyes
Old burning embers reborn to reflect memories that keeps a soul alive
