empty willow tree

empty willow tree
bare limbs hang still no birds come...
birds' water frozen

birds' chirps all quiet
front yard filled with birds feeding...
oak shed its acorns

Sara, it always amazes me how the little sparrows, so tiny still come on the coldest of winter days, to chirp and sing, I like your double haiku very much, Constance

This is a beautiful image of natures finest, birds and the trees! I really enjoyed reading this illustrious poem this afternoon! You have painted a wondrous picture of God's creatures enjoying a cold day! We are freezing here, and with some snow falling today, will have snow all week almost, that ought to be a lot of fun! You have written a fantastic write here Sara! What a pleasurable piece, Great Work!!

Sad for the tree, but at least the birds are happy. My best.
