No Time for Talk

Moments I feel weak
I work and work
Feel so busy it's hard to speak
Everywhere I turn
Feels like a block
I've got to do, no time for talk
But at the end of the day
There's an ache in my chest
There's so much time I was to invest
In better causes but this is where I'm left
Broke down by some stooge dressed in an Structure vest
I want to beat you so bad, I'll find a way
I don't give up that easy, just wont be today
There's room in this world for honest business
It's what my grandpa believed in,
That honorable feeling never goes out of season

I'll wake up one day
Walls will shatter like glass
I'll get up and everything will be in grasp
I'll have good workers that get paid well
Mothers can allow their kids out of their shell
They can raise them at home instead of a daycare
Way better than the present which sometimes is more than I can bear.

I suppose I'm drawn to your writing because of the identity I find in your words. You write with a talented pen and mix common sense and artful creativity....... Jake

I am not familair with this form, but have tried to experiment with every new form I find, that is written by poets that I read often. I hadn't visted your work in a while, but saw that one of your poems was a favorite. I like this poem, now I have to investigate the form. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Wayland, for reading my stuff! It's always nice to know it's appreciated :) I'm not really sure there's a form to this, I just write how things come to mind.(I just selected this one because it sounded good) I do like to experiment with new forms, it's very challenging!
