Blind Sheep

Everyone's mind is a wet rag
soaked by suige water;
              that the rich flush down
their gold toilets.

             While we starve ourselves
with cheap jobs,
recieving cheap pay

So we can pay off
a house for the next 30 years...

but we will call it home

Our homes sit on
their royal grid. Watching us
from above

Laughing,

as we go to grab
the false answer everytime it's dangled.

Us sheep have one purpose

to make the kings and queens
drown with riches
            basking in their chair of
power.

wow... Frank, i don't want my mind to soak like a rag,,, I'm not much of a job person, cause I'm the kind of gal who leads... I have my own standards, and not much power... however, i do feel laughed at, from above. not as a classified sheep, but SHEpard who lost her sheep... :-(.. anyways, a good poem..one will bask in their own heat.. always~ LINDA

Amen to that. The world isn't fair- is it? To me at least, seems like majority of the people with power and riches are the ones who don't deserve it... and the ones who are suffering are the best people who really do deserve it. But I look at it this way- what does the power and riches mean once we die and leave this life behind? Absolutely nothing! Great write :)
