'A wafting scent lingers still on mangled breath'...Oh my Rose, what a stunning line, as is the entire poem...My heart tells me this must be at least partially based on real-life experience..It has the feeling of someone who has been there, though I could be wrong...Congrats my friend - Tim

Mystic Rose, you really have a talent for the old English style. The last two lines made me think of my late husband. Very touching and romantic, dear. Do I know you be another name? Love, Carolyn

This is soooooooooooooo good! Old English is so hard to capture ... the last two lines are my fave and wrap it up as it should. The 8th line had me wondering... HIS sigh? But then again, you are speaking of dreams and his sweet wind (his communion with you) Such a sad and powerful piece. It's 630 here. Thought of you... was going to soupie you, but I see you've closed that option. I understand. Something truly awful must have happened... so sorry dear. Hugs, Cyndi hope things get better! xox
