A Moment In Time
~A Moment In Time~
A moment in time has come to its end
Never to be relived again
Transformed into old embers left to burn
Through one’s existing fires it shall return
A moment in time we should not waste
For the hourglass keeps on with its flowing pace
Showing a window that reflects to our dreams
Before the moment is passed through its running stream
A moment in time captures memories that surrender
To precious times spent with loved ones in splendor
Leaving impressions forever cherished in our minds
As the hourglass runs with the edge of time
A moment in time creates smiles we made
Out of tears collected in the days we waste
Thus, to trap them inside the streams of an hourglass
For us to embrace this moment before it shall pass
